CoderDojo is a global movement which aims to inspire young people to get involved in coding. Clubs meet around the world and young people (aged 11-18) can learn how to code, develop websites, build apps, design games and more. Having recently received backing by several partners from the technology industry, including NESTA, Mozilla Foundation and Nominet, CoderDojo Scotland approached Papertank to discuss modernising their logo and building an online presence to help young coders and parents to find out more about the organisation.
The new coderdojoscotland.com website is powered by a customised WordPress platform, allowing staff based in Glasgow and across Scotland to easily manage the website content including clubs, events and blog articles.
Having volunteered and mentored at CoderDojo events in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Papertank have been involved with CoderDojo for some time. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to help the non-profit movement further with the launch of their new website and look forward to seeing new young coders get involved in clubs in their area.
