Freelance Web Developer Programming Fanatic

We’re always on the lookout for web developers with front-end and back-end development experience. If you’re a forward thinking person and keen to work with the latest technologies and programming techniques, we’re sure you’ll fit our needs perfectly. Here are some of the things we look for.

• Frontend: HTML and CSS including appropriate HTML5 and CSS3
  (that means we don’t do ageing Internet Explorer versions )
• Backend: PHP. We use Laravel as our preferred framework
• Comfortable working with WordPress and building maintainable WordPress themes
• A fellow Git user to manage source code properly

Role

We usually work on a freelance working arrangement where you can commit time on a project-by-project basis. We would agree an hourly fee for small jobs and an up-front cost for full project. As self-employed, you will be responsible for paying your own tax.

Location

Ideally you would be available to work from our offices in the Merchant City, Glasgow. At the very least, you should be able to travel to our office to discuss new projects and chat about the progress, so this position is unsuitable for remote workers out-with travelling distance.
